Ramsaigh MacDhòmhnaill
B' e Prìomh-mhinistear na Rìoghachd Aonaichte agus riochdaire dioplòmasach a bh' ann an Seumas Ramsaigh MacDhòmhnaill neo James Ramsay MacDonald, FRS, (12 an Dàmhair 1866–9 an t-Samhain 1937).

Chaill e an seat aige ann an 1918 ach thill e gu pàrlamaid airson Aberavon is chaidh e na cheannard a' Phàrtaidh Làbarach. Dh'iarr an Rìgh air a bhith am Prìomhaire ann an 1924 ach cha do mhair an riaghaltas agus chaill e an taghadh coitcheann. Thill e gu Sràid Downing ann an 1928 agus chruthaich e riaghaltas co-bhoinn neo riaghaltas nàiseanta. Cha do chòrd seo ris a' phàrtaidh is leig e a dhreuchd suas ann an 1935.[1]
Ged nach do dh'obraich e mar neach-saidheans, chaidh e na bhall dhen Comann Rìoghail ann an 1930 fo riaghailt shònraichte. Chaidh a thaghadh mar bhall pàrlamaid airson Oilthighean na h-Alba ann an 1936. Ghabh e òraid mu dheireadh aig an Institiud Rìoghail ann an Lunnainn air "Saidheans agus a' Choimhearsnachd". Chaochail e air saor-làithean air bàta a bha a' dol gu Ameireaga a Deas.[2]
