Orthorhombic
Thanks for your kind words on my user page on cy. Templates, as you know are extremely powerful and effective, but they are also extremely complicated with some relying on a multitude of subtemplates - 30 - 40 at times. To rework these in Welsh for me, personally, would be a waste of time; it's reinventing the wheel, therefore we copy and paste from en. Take a look on the template we use here: Infobox UK place. The old one is still found on one or two pages eg Dyfnant, which is basically just a map! The crucial bit for me is for the user / reader experience to be 100% Welsh. What underlines it all can be in any language under the sun imho! Yes, many templates were created in Welsh years ago, but they are very simple and at times lifeless. That's why I copied the Template:Coord. I apologise if this is not the modus operandi here on gd, and ask you to please delete.
I've left a couple of messages on Meta regarding the two english langage buttons you mention - I hadn't noticed them on cy!!! Yes, of course these need to be translated as you say: for the reader to have a 'Gaelic Wikipedia experience'. Let me come back to you when I have received an answer. I note that they're in English on both the Irish and the Breton Wikipedia! Let's form a Celtic Knot to help with such things!
Please keep an eye on my towns in Wales articles. We've created over 700 stubs on the Irish Wiki and the Breton wiki; I'll ask your community's opinion as to whether you want them, of course. Llywelyn2000 (talk) 15:46, 19 dhen Ghiblean 2014 (UTC)
- Your request for the translation of the bottom right two buttons: there's a discussion on this subject here. Doesn't seem to be important to some people! Let's add to the discussion! Llywelyn2000 (talk) 14:16, 20 dhen Ghiblean 2014 (UTC)
