''Cìp'' is indeed supposed to mean keep while ''an t-aghaidh-thogalaich chùirtearach'' is supposed to be "[[:en:curtain wall (fortification)|curtain wall]]", which the Historic Scotland thesaurus suggests should be ''balla-cùirteir''. Both of the terms I used came from http://www.learngaelic.net/dictionary/ by the way ([http://www.learngaelic.net/dictionary/index.jsp?abairt=c%C3%ACp&slang=both&wholeword=false cìp], [http://www.learngaelic.net/dictionary/index.jsp?abairt=aghaidh-thogalaich%2Bch%C3%B9irtearach&slang=both&wholeword=false aghaidh-thogalaich chùirtearach]).
